Job Description
Perform set ups on machinery, machine repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and other facilities tasks.
Requirements
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Able to read blueprints and simple schematics
- Able to read calipers and micrometers
- Safe and proper use of both hand tools and hand power tools
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Good communication skills
- Works well in team environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to be able to stand, kneel, bend, reach for long periods at a time
- Basic computer literacy (navigation, email, printing, familiar w/ Microsoft Office)
- Experience in welding and brazing
- Experience with general shop equipment
- Basic electronics and electricity capabilities
- Experience with manual lathes, mills and surface grinder
- General fabrication
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Experience with trouble shooting and repairing PLC/Automation equipment
- Experience with trouble shooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Experience with punch presses tooling, setup, and repair
