Store Clerk I

The Store Clerk I will be responsible for obtaining payments for goods while maintaining high customer service. This role involves itemizing purchases, verifying customer age, collecting payments, and maintaining store inventory and cash. It also requires handling customer interactions with vendors and management, as well as maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

Requirements

• Provides fast and friendly customer service
• Itemizes and totals purchases
• Verifies customer’s age on restricted items
• Collects payments and/or verifies credit acceptance
• Balances Cash Drawer
• Receives Merchandise
• Stocks shelves and cooler
• Controls Inventory and cash through proper transaction record keeping
• Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards
