Store Clerk I

The Store Clerk I position involves acquiring payments for goods, providing excellent customer service, handling inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment. This role requires interaction with customers, vendors, and coworkers, as well as performing light paperwork duties.

Requirements

• Provide fast and friendly customer service
• Verify customer’s age on restricted items
• Collect payments and/or verify credit acceptance
• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards
• Work any area of the store when needed
• Operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
• Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to handle exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to work alone
