Job Description
As a Buyer I at Jabil, you will be responsible for procuring all components necessary to support production or prototype builds, achieving the best possible pricing, lead time agreements, and resolving quality issues. You will also analyze and execute Materials Requirement Plan (MRP), monitor and verify materials pipeline, and ensure materials availability to support production.
Requirements
- Participate in decision making of MPS loading through proper materials sizing
- Maintain and execute Materials Requirement Plan (MRP)
- Issue Purchase Orders to pricing, terms & conditions that are negotiated and agreed to by Jabil Commodity Managers and Buyers
- Optimize order management process to ensure effective communication with suppliers
- Monitor and continuously improve supplier’s delivery and quality performance
- Support Accounts Payable in resolving invoice discrepancies
- Provide inputs to drive and execute Jabil’s commodity and pricing strategy
