Manufacturing Technician I

Manufacturing Technician I coordinates tasks with other Manufacturing staff to fulfill customer requirements, adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications. The role involves assembling finished units, utilizing manual and automated lifting devices, and performing preventive maintenance on area tooling.

Requirements

• Works under direct, close supervision
• Follows mostly routine, standardized procedures
• Selects from a variety of established procedures to perform assigned duties
• Resolves routine questions and problems
• Assembles finished units per customer specifications
• Coordinates with teammates to organize tasks
• Provides information and coordinates action plans at cross-functional meetings
• Maintains spare parts inventory and orders spare parts as needed
• Performs preventive maintenance on area tooling
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Performs manual conformal coating of product per required specifications
• Prepares assemblies for automated coating processes and operates equipment as needed
• Maintains spray equipment
• Ensures assemblies and components are properly handled and marked
• Accurately maintains daily thickness logs and MES record keeping
• Utilizes bar code scanners and small hand tools
• Inspects assemblies visually for proper masking application and placement of required materials
