Jabil is seeking a Tooling Specialist to design, develop, maintain, and repair molds, dies, and tooling for manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in tooling design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair, and proficiency in CAD/CAM software. The position offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree or technical certification in Tool & Die Making, Machining, or a related field
• Proven experience in tooling design, fabrication, maintenance, and repair
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam)
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated ability to operate and program CNC machine tools
• Solid knowledge of different tool steels, heat treatment processes, and material properties
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
