At Jack Henry, we're redefining how community banks and credit unions connect with the people they serve. As a Senior Golang Software Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to our development team creating new financial applications and shared platform services.
Requirements
- Writing, testing, and delivering high-quality code to implement product features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Participating in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and continuously improving the team's code quality.
- Active contribution to agile development practices, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and proactively ensuring timely delivery of features through effective communication and collaboration with team members.
- Providing technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
- Adhering to documented departmental and corporate standards. Overseeing the definition and documentation of standards. Contributing to defining and improving department processes.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
