Job Description
We are seeking a Romanian Tax & Statutory Specialist to join our Global Business Services Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for statutory and tax processes for Romania, including tax accounting and compliance activities for CIT, VAT, and local taxes, as well as statutory accounting and reporting. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset to ensure quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in statutory reporting and tax compliance
- Strong understanding of Romania tax principles and tax compliance requirements
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and Statutory & Tax reporting tools (Workiva)
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Romanian language is preferred
