As a Statutory and Tax Specialist within our Global Business Services (GBS) Finance team, you will play a key role in the statutory and tax processes for Slovakia. This hands-on position involves execution of tax accounting and tax compliance activities for CIT, VAT and local taxes as well as statutory accounting and reporting in line with local regulations and corporate standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CTA) preferred
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in statutory reporting and tax compliance, ideally in a multinational or shared services environment
- Strong understanding of Slovenia tax principles and tax compliance requirements
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and Statutory & Tax reporting tools (Workiva).
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Slovak language is preferred
