Macro Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Macro Analyst to help our global trading team develop innovative ways to overlay quantitative and fundamental analysis onto Jane Street’s core trading strategies. The Macro Analyst will help prepare coverage of macro fundamental events and special situations, conduct scenario EVs and analysis for scheduled macro events, and provide real-time EVs for unanticipated macro news.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative background and command of probability
• Able to work and communicate with traders in a fast-paced environment
• 3+ years of experience covering macro within trading, financial services, or governmental institutions
• Skills in programming (e.g., Python) are a plus
