Job Description
Jane Street is seeking an experienced Macro Analyst to support their global trading team. This role involves providing quantitative analysis, scenario analysis, and communication of trading opportunities. The analyst will work with traders, sales, and research, and will be responsible for compiling and interpreting data to inform trading strategies. They will also focus on global macro events.
Requirements
- Strong quantitative background and command of probability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and articulate complex ideas
- 3+ years of experience covering macro within trading, financial services, or governmental institutions
- Regional expertise in Asia / China
- Comfortable working with large datasets and statistical models
- Current with relevant published research
- Nimbly combine datasets, statistical models and broader economic understanding.
