Job Description
Join JAS Worldwide as an Operations Intern in Chicago to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management and logistics. This 10-week project-based internship offers a comprehensive view of the logistics industry, with opportunities to learn and shadow various departments, including Air/Ocean Freight, Import/Exports, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing, and Sales.
Requirements
- Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in college with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Preferred fields of study: Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or Transportation & Logistics Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to evaluate and resolve problems effectively.
