Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Robotics Field Service Engineer with at least 5 years of experience and familiarity with IRC5 ABB robots. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to travel on short notice.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with IRC5 ABB robots
- Minimum Associate Degree in a technical discipline
- Good electronic and mechanical experience
- Troubleshooting through deductive reasoning
- Related applications experience: Spot welding, Arc welding, paint & Sealant applications
- Mechanical aptitude for performing mechanical component repair or replacement
- Knowledge of PLC communications and other robotic peripheral equipment
- Strong desire to travel
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with customers in high pressure situations
- Excellent organization skills – detail oriented
- Customer service background highly desirable
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Analyze issues and use sound judgment
- Manage execution
