Job Description
Design Engineer II responsible for creating new and modifying existing engineering documentation, including 3D models, drawings, and bill of materials. Applies basic engineering principles to solve problems of moderate complexity.
Requirements
- Create and modify SolidWorks 3D models and AutoCAD drawings
- Layout, draw and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings etc.
- Consult with other employees to design, layout or detail components and systems
- Design custom parts for integration into vocational vehicles
- Interpret customer specifications and sales orders
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives
- Work cross functionally to design, layout and detail components and systems
- Assist other Designers and Drafters with required engineering expertise
- Supporting Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and Procurement initiatives
