Maintenance Mechanic (Mechanical)- 1st Shift

The industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) is responsible for ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all production equipment. Responsible for observing and troubleshooting machinery malfunctions, installing machinery/equipment, assembling and repairing wiring, electronic and electrical components, plumbing, piping, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and providing regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.

Requirements

• Prior experience with machine maintenance in an industrial setting is required
• Basic industrial electrical knowledge
• Ability to properly use a cutting torch, read and follow prints, and accurately read all types of measuring devices
• General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations in industry
• Ability to climb, stand, bend, lift heavy objects in awkward and confined spaces
• Ability to work in an industrial setting with exposure to fumes, dust, vibration, noise, heavy machinery, high voltage with the use of appropriate protective / safety equipment
