Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer (Welding) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and auditing weld procedures and processes used at Reading Truck Group. The Weld Engineer is responsible for advancing the welding process at Reading Truck Group by developing, specifying, evaluating, implementing and expanding the use of new welding technologies.
Requirements
- Define, specify and maintain the welding and joining procedures and processes to optimize manufacturing process safety, quality and efficiency
- Advance the welding processes and Readingsā manufacturing competitiveness through the implementation of robotics and automation for welding and joining initiatives at Reading Truck Group locations
- Project manage welding and joining projects
