Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to assist the litigation team in reviewing medical portions of files and following up with medical providers for missing records. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling medical records for a litigation department and be proficient in using various legal and medical software.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience handling medical records for a litigation department
- Proficient in using various legal and medical software
- High school diploma required, some college experience a plus
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- Prior working experience managing medical records in a legal department
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized and adept in planning and multi-tasking
- Attention to detail and highly organized
