Maintenance Fitter

The Maintenance Fitter will ensure the availability, reliability and capability of plant assets in a beef processing environment. Key responsibilities include conducting scheduled preventative maintenance, attending breakdowns, and participating in plant shutdowns and major overhauls.

Requirements

• Trade qualified Fitter and Turner
• Minimum of two years' post-trade experience
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance work management practices
• Competent in computer applications relevant to maintenance reporting and work order systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of WHS regulations and procedures
