Job Description
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures raw product meets specifications prior to processing. They monitor and document HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs, conduct equipment inspections, and perform quality checks.
Requirements
- Monitor and document HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.
- Conduct equipment inspections and calibrate scales and thermometers daily.
- Perform metal detector checks and quality checks as specified by product type.
- Collect samples for food safety and quality assurance testing.
- Communicate with supervisors and follow established procedures for handling out-of-specification products.
