Job Description
The Rendering Maintenance Superintendent oversees all maintenance for rendering operations, ensures equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and safe, efficient plant performance.
Requirements
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams
- Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Plan and schedule maintenance work
- Troubleshoot and maintain production machinery
- Ensure proper documentation of work orders and maintenance logs
- Manage third-party contractors and vendors
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Support regulatory and customer audits
- Manage maintenance inventory and parts ordering
- Participate in or lead on-call rotation
