Job Description
The CNC Programmer position is responsible for safely conducting tasks, programming, and producing parts on CNC machines, and troubleshooting issues to maintain production and quality. The role requires a mechanical background, machine operating experience, and experience in CNC machining, including setup and programming of CNC machines.
Requirements
- Safely conduct all tasks and behaviors and comply with all JBT Machining Safety Policies
- Coordinate with the Estimation and Engineering departments
- Program, set up, and produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and assist operators when programming issues impact production and/or quality
- Complete accurate daily records
- Follow instructions from all JBT Machining documentation
- Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment
- Maintain the assigned work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
