
Job description
Reporting directly to Senior Procurement Manager, the Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for working with production component and critical indirect suppliers to sustain operational performance and improve quality, capability, warranty, and delivery.
The role involves assessing and driving improvement programs with suppliers, supporting quality and warranty performance, and mitigating potential risk to the business. The engineer will also lead product launch activities, manage escalations, and audit new suppliers and processes.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, a graduate calibre in manufacturing or engineering, and strong interpersonal communication skills. The role requires a customer service-oriented individual with a high energy level, flexibility, and a professional demeanor.
