Senior Communications Security (COMSEC) Engineer

JCS Solutions is seeking a Senior Communications Security (COMSEC) Engineer in Fort Belvoir, VA to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DoW contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA’s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA’s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations

Requirements

• Orchestrate organizational adherence to COMSEC policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and agency requirements.
• Engineer, deploy, and integrate high-assurance cryptographic hardware.
• Manage sustainment of cryptographic device fleets and lifecycle refreshes.
• Gather physical and electronic keying material.
• Execute rekeying operations aligned with crypto-periods.
• Maintain accountability and audit readiness of COMSEC assets.
• Serve as Lead COMSEC Authority and provide custodian training.
• Coordinate COMSEC operations with customers and deployment teams.
• Provide cryptographic integration SME support.
• Support CONUS-wide mission deployments.
