Job Description
The Valve Technician is involved in all aspects of service and repair of pressure relief device valves, including adherence to quality and safety processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Disassembly, inspection, reassembly, testing of new, repaired, or modified valves to engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct pressure tests (hydro-static or gas (Nitrogen/air)), leak tests, and calibration of valves.
- Mentorship of new team members will be required
- Document all activities, including test results, repairs, and maintenance performed, quality Control to ensure all the paperwork and tags are correct and verifying against paperwork and computer system information.
- Painting and tagging of valves prior to shipment as required.
- Collaborate with engineers, Production Manager, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.
- Reporting directly to the Branch Lead.
- Travelling to work on-site to meet customer needs may be required
