Underground Engineering Superintendent

JDS Energy & Mining is seeking an experienced Underground Engineering Superintendent to support the development and execution of an underground mining project in British Columbia, Canada. This role requires leading underground engineering functions, including mine planning, design, and technical services, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Geology, etc.)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in underground mining engineering, preferably in a senior leadership role
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration or ability to register
• Strong leadership, technical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, standards, and company procedures
• Familiarity with mine planning, design, and technical services software
