Health & Safety Assistant

Reporting to the Food, Health and Environmental Safety Advisor, the Health & Safety Assistant will support the Jealous Fruits team in their pursuit to be incident free. This role will work closely with the Operations & Farm Managers to ensure compliance, training reviews and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Health and Safety or working towards NCSO Designation an asset.
• Great organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Possess a sound knowledge of health and safety standards and a commitment to promoting safe farming practices.
• Ability to work long hours especially during the harvest months of July and August.
• Ability to speak Spanish an asset.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Class 5 driver's license.
