Software Engineer (Contractor)

Jeeves is a financial operating system built for global businesses, providing corporate cards, cross-border payments, and spend management software. The company operates across 20+ countries and serves over 5,000 clients worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular)
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Fluent in English
