Public Affairs & Digital Communications Manager

The Public Affairs & Digital Communications Manager extends the work of the Director by leading the execution of digital media and creative communications for the office. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating communications, public information, and community engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• Develop and execute communications and public information initiatives aligned with office priorities and community needs
• Identify and implement proactive storytelling opportunities and support development of communications strategies, branding, and public engagement approaches
• Conduct research on communications best practices and support internal communications initiatives and special projects
• Support and participate in community engagement efforts, including presentations, public events, and outreach initiatives
• Lead social media strategy and manage content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement across platforms
• Film, edit, and produce video content and create graphics and other multimedia assets
• Build and maintain relationships with media and community partners
• Draft press materials, talking points, and public-facing communications and provide spokesperson support as needed
