General Production

JELD-WEN is seeking a General Production to join our growing team. The primary role of General Production is to perform tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

• Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Process-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
• Assists co-workers in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day on hard surfaces
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and climbing may be required to access materials and operate equipment
• Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and labels
• Demonstrated proficiency in using metrology instruments and recording inspection data
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, and employees are expected to maintain a safe and clean work area
• Overtime may be required, sometimes on short notice, to meet production goals
• Must meet daily production rates while maintaining quality standards for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
