Jensen Hughes is a leading fire protection consulting firm seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer/Consultant to join their Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in code consulting, performance-based design, and fire protection system design. Responsibilities include managing and implementing engineering design and consulting projects, conducting code analyses, and providing quality control reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in code consulting, design of fire suppression and alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment
• Registered Professional Engineer required
• Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills
• Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies and good communication and negotiations skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
