Speech Language Pathologist

Jet Health / Trio Home Health is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist PRN to provide therapy to patients in the Denton, TX area. The role involves developing and implementing patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and evaluating patient needs to maintain their well-being. They are looking for an RN/LPN/MSW who can provide therapy in an acute care, rehabilitation, or home health setting.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current State License in Speech-Language Pathology
• Driver’s License
• One year of experience in an acute care, rehabilitation setting or home health (preferred)
• Therapy skills in line with accepted standards of practice
• Good interpersonal skills
• Current CPR
• Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance
• Perform ongoing clinical assessments (OASIS) and develop and evaluate the care plan.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners
• Provide patient, caregiver, and family counseling
