Controller Maintenance

The Maintenance Controller maintains continuous surveillance over the airworthiness of the JetBlue aircraft fleet and is a single designated interface between Technical Operations and Dispatch.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• Five (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Five (5) years of experience in heavy transport aircraft
• Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
• Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
• Ability to work flexible hours during the day and night operation
• Willingness to work overtime when operational requirement is needed
• Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Management (preferred)
• Two (2) years of Maintenance Control Experience (Heavy Transport) (preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and in the use of digital manuals (preferred)
• Ability to stay focused and work under pressure (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
• Strong work ethic (preferred)
• Previous leadership experience (preferred)
