The Maintenance Controller maintains continuous surveillance over the airworthiness of the JetBlue aircraft fleet and is a single designated interface between Technical Operations and Dispatch.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Five (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Five (5) years of experience in heavy transport aircraft
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Ability to work flexible hours during the day and night operation
- Willingness to work overtime when operational requirement is needed
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Management (preferred)
- Two (2) years of Maintenance Control Experience (Heavy Transport) (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and in the use of digital manuals (preferred)
- Ability to stay focused and work under pressure (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
- Strong work ethic (preferred)
- Previous leadership experience (preferred)
