Job Description
The Avionics Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and inspecting aircraft electrical and avionics systems. This role operates on the hangar floor and supports both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and dispatch readiness.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of avionics experience on turbine aircraft
- Experience with Learjet aircraft (Lear 60, 55, 35 preferred)
- Strong understanding of digital avionics systems, EFIS, FMS, autopilot, and integrated flight decks
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and aircraft schematics
- Proficient in avionics troubleshooting and system integration
- Strong documentation and communication skills
