Physician

The Attending Staff Physician provides direction and coordination of medical care for assigned residents and works collaboratively with residents, families, staff, and external providers to ensure excellent person-centered medical care.

Requirements

• Doctor of allopathic or osteopathic medicine
• Licensed to practice medicine in New York State
• Board Certified in family medicine or internal medicine
• Added qualifications and/or board certification in geriatrics and/or hospice and palliative medicine are highly desirable
• Certified Medical Director (CMD) Certification by the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association is desirable
