Job Description
The Resident Assistant provides direct care to residents under the supervision of the RN Nurse Manager, including grooming, bathing, and medication assistance. The role involves gathering, reporting, and documenting information requested by the residents' physicians, as well as maintaining a safe and clean environment in the resident's apartment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a NYS Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide
- Previous experience as a home health aide or working with the elderly (desirable)
