Mobile Electrical Engineer

JLL is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to provide comprehensive electrical and mechanical maintenance services for a prestigious office building in central Cambridge. The role requires a proactive professional who can deliver high-quality technical support while maintaining the operational excellence expected in a high-profile commercial environment.

Requirements

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and building services equipment
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and electrical faults, diagnosing issues efficiently and implementing effective solutions
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to support HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and other building plant equipment maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including test certificates, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation
• Liaise professionally with building occupants, property management teams, and external contractors as required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures
• Participate in emergency response procedures and out-of-hours call-out rota as needed
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and energy efficiency enhancements
