Operating Engineer

The Operating Engineer will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment on all systems, including Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems, while ensuring the equipment is up to applicable standards. The position requires technical expertise in one craft area and multi-skilled in others. Responsibilities include maintenance, monitoring, repairs, and record-keeping.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2-4 years experience required
• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems
• Ability to analyze the operation of various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action
