Sr. UPS Electrician - Critical Environment (Night Shift)

The Sr. UPS Electrician - Critical Environment (Night Shift) role at JLL is responsible for leading maintenance and operations of complex electrical infrastructure, performing advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis, and executing sophisticated electrical testing procedures. As a critical technical leader, you will serve as the go-to expert for the most challenging electrical engineering problems. You will work with cutting-edge technology, including medium voltage switchgear, advanced power distribution systems, and emergency backup infrastructure, to drive both immediate operational excellence and long-term strategic improvements across our electrical infrastructure portfolio.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data center or critical facility electrical systems operations
• Advanced technical knowledge of electrical power systems including medium voltage distribution, transformers, and protective relaying systems
• Demonstrated expertise with large-scale UPS systems (500kW+), emergency generators, and electrical switchgear operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for diagnosing and resolving complex electrical infrastructure issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating technical documentation and delivering training programs
• Physical ability to perform demanding work including walking, climbing, lifting 50+ pounds, and working on ladders up to 30 feet
• Availability for emergency response calls and ability to work in high-pressure situations
• NFPA 70E certification required within 90 days of employment
