Electrical Lineman

Electrical Lineman position requires completion of training in electrical linework and relevant certifications. Must have strong understanding of electrical systems, power generation, and distribution. Must work in all weather conditions and travel to different sites.

Requirements

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead electrical power lines and systems
• Inspect and test power lines and auxiliary equipment to locate and diagnose problems
• Adhere to strict safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure public safety
• Climb poles using belts
• Work in various environments and weather conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and remote areas
• Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Communicate effectively with the public, colleagues, and supervisors
