Job Description
Jobbex is looking for a Java Developer to join one of our clients in Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, experience in software development, and strong expertise in Java, Spring, and Docker.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Proven experience in software development (experience in logistics is a plus)
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
- Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluent in English (C1 or higher)
