Backend Software Engineer

Role Overview

What You Will Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, data models, and infrastructure supporting core platform functionality. Write clean, efficient, testable code while ensuring high performance, reliability, and system scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of software engineering experience
• Proven experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software systems and backend features
• Strong ability to debug, optimize, and enhance existing systems for performance and reliability improvements
• Experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in production environments
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Amazon Web Services, and modern backend architectures
• Familiarity with data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, and similar tools
• Understanding of AI/ML-driven systems or generative AI integrations is a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and system scalability principles
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
