Backend Software Engineer

Role Overview

This role sits at the core of a fast-scaling AI-native SaaS platform powering the creator commerce ecosystem. You will design and build backend systems that directly impact how major global brands and creators manage discovery, engagement, and growth across modern social and commerce channels.

What You Will Do

Own and deliver backend features end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration in a fast-moving product environment. Design and build scalable backend systems using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure (GCP), ensuring reliability and performance at scale.

Requirements

• 2–6+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience in product-focused or high-performance engineering environments
• Strong experience building and scaling backend systems, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and distributed services
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, along with solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and system design principles
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and building production-grade, scalable infrastructure
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, documentation, and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments, take ownership, and deliver end-to-end features independently
• Experience or strong familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and modern coding tools, with the ability to evaluate AI-generated output critically
• Strong product intuition and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams
