Financial Controller

Role Overview

This is a high-impact finance leadership role within a fast-growing, international organization operating across multiple European entities. You will take ownership of financial control, reporting, and accounting operations for the EU region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial closing processes.

What You Will Do

Take full responsibility for financial control, accounting operations, and reporting across European entities, lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, and manage and develop the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in accounting or controlling within international environments
• Strong expertise in multi-entity structures, financial consolidation, and end-to-end accounting processes
• Solid knowledge of BE GAAP, with IFRS knowledge considered a strong advantage
• Experience working with Belgian and Dutch regulatory environments is highly desirable
• Proven track record with ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite, and involvement in system implementation or optimization projects
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing accounting or finance teams
• Fluency in English is required; Dutch language skills are a strong plus
