Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller who will take ownership of financial reporting and compliance for European entities, while actively contributing to process improvements and providing valuable financial insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Collaborates on the preparation and entering of journal entries
• Key participant in balance sheet reconciliations
• Follow the company's chart of accounts
• Organizes month-end and year-end close process
• Research and analyze current financial status
• Collaborate on financial action recommendations by analyzing accounting options
• Identify errors and collaborate on ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Key participant in reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Assist with financial statements and supplemental schedules
• Organize documentation on business processes to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
• Prepare special financial reports as needed by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
