Platform Engineering Manager

Role Overview

This role sits at the core of a high-impact engineering organization responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery across complex environments. You will lead a platform engineering team that builds and operates shared infrastructure services powering product and engineering teams across cloud, hybrid, and highly secure deployments.

What You Will Do

Lead a team of Platform Engineers, define and implement platform strategy, own platform reliability, scalability, observability, and cost efficiency, drive operational excellence, and partner with cybersecurity, product, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
• 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, AWS or multi-cloud environments, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)
• Experience building and operating scalable platform services for engineering teams
• Strong understanding of hybrid and air-gapped environments and related security constraints
• Experience defining SLOs, operational metrics, and incident response frameworks
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
