Power System Study Engineer

Role Overview

This role plays a key part in delivering advanced electrical engineering analysis for complex power infrastructure projects across industrial, utility, and renewable sectors. You will contribute to the design and optimization of substations and transmission systems that support reliable and sustainable energy delivery.

What You Will Do

Perform advanced electrical power system studies and substation design support activities that ensure safe, efficient, and standards-compliant infrastructure delivery. Conduct load flow, short circuit, harmonic, stability, arc flash, grounding, and protection coordination studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in power system studies, electrical design, or related EPC environments
• Strong expertise in power system simulation tools (ETAP, ASPEN, PSCAD, PSS/E)
• Solid understanding of substation design (GIS/AIS), protection systems, and SCADA integration
• Knowledge of grounding, insulation coordination, and grid compliance standards
• Experience with renewable energy systems, including BESS and grid integration is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects and work in cross-functional teams
• Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset
