Client Accountant

A Malta-based company is looking for a Client Accountant to join their team, focusing on supporting businesses with regulatory, tax, and administrative requirements. The role involves managing client relationships, ensuring accounting records comply with standards, and liaising with auditors. The company offers a salary of up to €40K + annual performance bonus and hybrid working.

Requirements

• ACCA qualified or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in client-facing roles, ideally within a CSP environment
• Proficient in English (written and spoken); fluency in another language besides Maltese is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Maltese VAT and tax legislation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS or locally accepted accounting standards
• High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
• Experience with Xero or other cloud-based accounting software is an asset
