Junior Accountant

A boutique Maltese accounting and auditing firm looking for a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. The Junior Accountant will assist with the preparation of financial statements, maintain accurate records, and support client audits and compliance processes.

Requirements

• Currently studying or working towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA
• 1+ years working experience in a similar role in Malta - non-negotiable
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of another language is considered an asset
• Strong MS365 skills, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience with accounting software is considered an advantage
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with the ability to think outside the box
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across different departments
