Job Description
A boutique Maltese accounting and auditing firm is seeking a Senior Accountant - VAT Specialist to oversee client accounting functions, ensure compliance, and support clients and internal teams with accurate financial reporting and advisory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting or tax-focused role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAPSME, VAT, and corporate tax regulations
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
