Welder/Fitter

Yellowstone Local is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join their team representing Western Utility Telecom, a leader in custom steel fabrication for communication towers and utility structures. The role involves fabricating, welding, and assembling steel components, working with various materials, and maintaining a safe shop environment. Requirements

• Interpret detailed drawings and specifications
• Cut, fit, and weld steel using GMAW spray transfer and other processes
• Conduct plasma and oxy/fuel cutting
• Fabricate specialized fixtures and components
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and accuracy
• Perform equipment maintenance and assist in shop operations
• Basic and advanced math, including geometry
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in variable shop conditions
• Must complete an on-site welding/skills test
